Description

This 2020 Chevrolet Camaro COPO race car is #6 of 69 produced for the model year and 1 of 5 with the John Force Inspired Package. Finished in black and silver over black, the car is powered by a Magnuson-supercharged 5.7-liter V8 paired with a modified Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission with a Hurst COPO shifter. Equipment includes a wheelie bar, a parachute, staggered-width 15″ Weld wheels, disc brakes, a roll cage, bucket seats, COPO-specific switchgear and gauges, a fuel cell, and open exhaust headers. This COPO Camaro is now offered in Florida with a dealer file, manuals, an NHRA inspection form, a jacket, and a bill of sale.

The car was ordered in John Force edition black and silver, featuring painted red accents and “350 Supercharged” script across the hood as well as darkened taillights. The car also was equipped from the factory with a cowled hood with an intake scoop, a parachute, a wheelie bar, headlights, clear side-marker lights, and darkened taillights.

The John Force Inspired version featured gray 15″ Weld wheels with bright lips. The wheels are mounted with 28.0×4.5″ front and 9.0/30.0″ rear Hoosier drag tires. Braking is provided by unassisted four-wheel discs with red-finished Strange calipers and slotted front rotors. A manual steering rack is fitted.

A flat-bottom steering wheel frames COPO-branded instrumentation monitoring fuel pressure, oil pressure, water temperature, and transmission temperature. A 10k-rpm programmable tachometer with a shift light is positioned to the left of the steering wheel. The car is not equipped with a speedometer or an odometer, and the seller indicates that the car has not been raced or tracked.

A fuel cell and a battery are mounted in the trunk area, as is a voltage gauge.

The 5.7-liter LSX-based V8 received a 2.65-liter Magnuson supercharger, a forged rotating assembly, a high-flow air filter, and open exhaust headers from the factory. Output was rated at 580 horsepower.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a modified Turbo Hydramatic 400 three-speed automatic transmission. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.

Sixty pages of paperwork—including the COPO purchase certificate, dealer file, manuals, and an NHRA inspection form—are pictured in the gallery. The base MSRP for the supercharged version of this Camaro was $130,000, while the John Force Inspired Package cost an additional $33,750; this car is said to be one of five examples built with that package. The $2,000 Racer's Package, also selected on this vehicle, added a weight box, dual batteries, a carbon-fiber air intake, and an intercooler quick-change coupling.

This vehicle has neither a standardized VIN nor a title, and it is offered on a bill of sale.
